Our Klop Regal might be rarely featured, but its distinctive sound renders it an essential instrument in very particular repertoire. It made its debut in early 2008 in Copenhagen’s Royal Theatre with Lars Ulrik Mortensen directing Concerto Copenhagen in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo. Since then, it has been heard in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide.
